When kids who have experienced hardships get involved with Youth Haven, they know they can depend on us, because we become part of their lives. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, we're able to meet the needs of deserving children all year long through our on-site adventures and Adventure Club mail and online ministry. Many of these kids have faced abuse, neglect, domestic violence, multiple foster placements, poverty, a parent in prison, or other childhood trauma. We provide a safe environment for them, full of fun activities and Christian love. And we introduce them to the life-changing love of Jesus. We make our programs available to the children free of charge and without state or federal funding. Thank you for partnering with us through your financial gifts, volunteer hours, and prayers. A variety of exciting on-site activities such as swimming, indoor and outdoor games, daily chapel times, crafts, a petting farm, playground, zipline, and more - all designed to help them have fun while learning about Jesus

Personal hygiene items, school supplies, toys, clothing, shoes, and other items a child needs
A full Bible, called the Trailbook, which we encourage them to use at home as well

How your gift helps a child
Imaginative play and physical activity are important to a child's development. Youth Haven gives children a chance to explore the great outdoors, develop new skills, form positive memories, and interact with other kids facing similar circumstances. At Youth Haven, their basic needs are met. This is a stark contrast to what many of them face at home, where there is not enough food and they are often left to fend for themselves. Youth Haven gives kids a place to belong, with steady positive influences and stability in the midst of uncertain or changing circumstances. Caring adults demonstrate the love of Christ and teach biblical principles that help the children make positive life choices. And our focus on Creation gives them a sense of self-worth by teaching them God loves them and created them for a very special purpose.

Youth Haven is impacting families facing tragic circumstances in a unique way. We have been privileged to open some areas of our Michigan campus to several search and rescue teams to test their search dogs before going out into the field.
