As followers of Christ, we have a responsibility to teach the next generation the truth of the Gospel, so they can find their hope in Jesus. Many kids in our nation are growing up in situations where they will never hear about Jesus if we don't share His love with them.
That's what the Day of Hope was all about! On February 6-7, our sister ministry, Family Life Radio, offered listeners the chance to be part of Youth Haven's mission to give hope to disadvantaged children. I was privileged to interact with their on-air staff as we gave details about Youth Haven's programs and shared stories of kids whose lives have been changed through their involvement at Youth Haven.
The response was overwhelming, and I am so grateful for the way God blessed through so many of you! We started with a goal of helping 500 kids at a level of $456, or $38 monthly. By the end of the two days, we had received gifts to help 675 children participate in Youth Haven's programs! These gifts are so important and so appreciated! Expenses have continued to rise, and since we provide our programs free of charge, we can't cover the additional expenses by raising fees like many business have done. In 2024, we provided over 2,200 free on-site adventures for kids and teens, and we now serve over 1,800 kids each month through our Adventure Club mail and online program. And we want to grow those numbers! There are so many more children across our nation who need the hope of Jesus!
To everyone who gave, to our amazing volunteers, and to the Family Life Radio staff who made this possible, thank you! Your support means so much. Please continue to stand with us as we meet the needs of our nation's next generation and share the Gospel with them. You are giving kids hope!
