Join a Home Mission Helping Unreached Children this summer!
Our Mission is to provide life-changing, Christ-centered experiences for disadvantaged children.
Mark 16:15 commands us to preach the Gospel to the unreached. Sadly, there is a growing unreached people group right here in America: our children. Many are living in homes where they lack love, safety and security, provision of their basic needs, and any kind of awareness of who Jesus is.

Youth Haven offers you an opportunity to respond to Jesus’ command by sharing His love with vulnerable children right here in the United States. We currently have locations in Michigan and Arizona. Please consider joining our mission team!

Summer Camp Positions Include:

Team Leader (Camp Counselor)
Care for 6-7 kids each week and provide a safe space for each child to have fun while hearing and experiencing the Gospel. -
Program Assistant
Help with fun activities like the zipline, archery, petting farm, chapel, occasional meal preparation and service, and so much more! -
First Aid Health Officer
Safely manage all medications and lovingly care for children who hurt themselves or aren’t feeling well. Red Cross certification is required; Youth Haven may assist with training scheduling and costs. -
Lifeguard
Administer swim tests, supervise swim times, and ensure the safety of everyone in the pool. Red Cross or equivalent certification is required; Youth Haven may assist with training scheduling and costs. -
Kitchen Assistant
Help prepare and serve meals and snacks to the children, and help maintain a clean kitchen and dining room. -
Creative/Media Team Member
Use your creative and/or technical skills as part of our media crew, helping take photos and pull together videos and/or printed content for kids.

Our summer camp season is 10 weeks, including a staff orientation period that begins at the end of May. Camp sessions typically run from Monday through Friday, with weekends off.

We work with a unique demographic of children who are living in difficult circumstances and will most likely never hear the Gospel if they don’t come to Youth Haven. But we can only welcome them here if we have staff to care for them and teach them. You can help kids come to know Christ!

The Youth Haven mission team is a family. We serve together, pray for each other, study God’s Word together, and have a lot of fun with each other along the way!
Skills & Experience
Youth Haven is a great place to gain experience, especially if you want to work with kids in the future! You will improve your skills in areas like leadership, flexibility, solving conflicts, communication, and dedication - all good qualities to have for any job.

Our staff positions are paid, so you don’t have to choose between teaching kids about Jesus and earning money for college or other needs. We also offer an opportunity to apply for a scholarship for your upcoming school year.
